ATS, based in Eastern North Carolina, was founded in 1996 with a technological vision that became the standard for change within electric distribution utilities nationwide. ATS, a subsidiary of Cooperatives Computer Center (CCC) of Tallahassee, Florida, has a long and well-established history within our industry. CCC was one of the original NRECA technology cooperatives founded in the United States in the late 1960’s.  While the parent company remains incorporated as CCC, the entire company is known as ATS.

For many years, the core applications that ran utilities were slow to evolve and keep up with the rapidly changing needs of the industry.  They tended to be inflexible, difficult to use and maintain, and lack the ability to integrate and share vital information across the enterprise. This lack of integration is having a direct impact on the financial health of these organizations, as well as on the people who use them.

ATS offered some brand new thinking. Our OpenOne suite of solutions has revolutionizing the way electric distribution utilities function in this new century. At the core is a single Oracle data repository that connects all of your financial, customer information and billing, ESRI-based GIS and outage management applications together.
